To secure the cables, complete the following steps.

Attach the cables so that the connectors protrude directly outward from the cable connections on the storage engine, allowing sufficient stress relief within the cables.
Caution There should be no twisting or bending of the connectors at the connection points. Excessive bending and twisting might cause damage to components within the storage engine, or to the cables.

After making the connections, use cable ties to secure the cables into place, as shown in the preceding illustration.

Use cable ties at the locations shown in the illustration.
