To install an AT-FC in a disk shelf, complete the following steps.

Put on the antistatic wrist strap and grounding leash, then check to make sure that the power is off to the storage engine and disk shelf.

Push apart the levers on the cam mechanism and slide the AT-FC into the slot at the rear of the disk shelf, and then push the levers of the cam mechanism into place.
Caution Do not use excessive force when sliding the AT-FC into the disk shelf; you might damage the connector.

Connect both AC power cords to the back of the disk shelf and storage engine.
