Creating LUNs, igroups, and LUN maps

This chapter describes the preparation process for creating LUNs and the methods for creating LUNs, igroups, and LUN maps. In addition, it describes how to create LUNs on vFilers.

This chapter assumes that your NetApp iSCSI network is set up and configured, and that the iSCSI service is licensed and enabled. If that is not the case, see Managing the iSCSI Network.
