About setting up the FTP service

Setting up the FTP service on your filer involves configuring a mandatory option, ftpd.enable, and a few optional options, such as ftpd.auth_ style (to set up the authentication style), ftpd.anonymous.enable (to enable anonymous access), and so on. Once the FTP service is enabled on a filer, the optional options you have not set are automatically assigned default values.
