This section identifies the location of the chassis fan assemblies on your filer and describes how to replace each fan assembly.
Note
To maintain UL, CSA, and TUV safety certifications, you must obtain replacement chassis fan assemblies from Network Appliance. Using unapproved replacement chassis fans voids the safety certifications.
There are two chassis fan assemblies on an F85. One fan assembly is on the chassis back panel and one fan is beneath the drive bays.
