Installing the slide assemblies

Align the mounting tab on the front of the slide assembly with the bracket notches in the rack and push the assembly forward, then down until the blue latch locks into place.

WARNING
Network Appliance recommends that you install the equipment from the bottom up to ensure the greatest stability.

Note
Mount the brackets at least 13 holes above the bottom notch to allow room for the filer to clear the bottom of the rack.

Push the back of the slide assembly into the notches on the back of the rack, then push down until the blue latch locks into place.

Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for the other slide assembly.
