Installing the cable management arm

About the cable management arm

The cable management arm helps keep the system cables untangled and orderly. This hinged metal arm attaches to the back of the filer and to the back of the equipment rack.

Connecting the cable management arm

To connect the cable management arm to the F85, then to the system rack, complete the following steps.

Step	Action
1	Put on the antistatic wrist strap and grounding leash.
2	Using the #2 Phillips screwdriver, attach the hinge of the cable management arm to the filer chassis with two 8-32 Phillips self-threading screws. Attach the other end of the cable management arm to the left rear rack post, using two 10-32 Phillips screws and two #10 flat washers, shown in the following illustration.
