Connect the disk shelves to the storage engine in the sequence shown in the following illustration.

To connect a disk shelf to the storage engine, complete the following steps.

Action

Put on the antistatic wrist strap and grounding leash.

Make sure that the storage engine and disk shelves are turned off.
3

Connect each disk shelf to the storage engine using the supplied SCSI cables, as shown in the following illustration.
