You can connect through either of the RJ-45 connections:

To connect your storage engine to a single-port RJ-45 connector, complete the following step.

Step	Action
1	Place a ferrite on your cable about four inches from the NIC port
2	Push the RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port until it clicks and locks into place, as shown in the following figure.

To connect your storage engine to a dual-port RJ-45 connector, complete the following step.

Step	Action
1	Push the RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port until it clicks and locks into place. Repeat this step to connect another network to the second port, as shown in the following figure.
