Removing an AT-FC

To remove an AT-FC from a disk shelf, complete the following steps.

Step	Action
1	Put on the antistatic wrist strap and grounding leash.
2	Shut down the storage engine by entering the following command at the console: halt Caution Always use the `halt` command to perform a clean shutdown. The LCD on the storage engine displays `Halted` when the system is halted.
3	Turn off the power and unplug both power cables to the disk shelf and storage engine.
4	Press the levers on the cam mechanism on the AT-FC to release it.
5	Carefully remove the AT-FC from the back side of the disk shelf and place it on a nonconductive/antistatic surface.
6	Go to Installing an AT-FC.
