The atm uniconfig command allows one to display/modify the
current UNI configuration of an ATM device.
- show
- The show command displays the current
UNI configuration, including the signaling
channel parameters, the configured
and operational UNI versions, the primary
ATM address, and the failover state
and groups.
If a -unit option is specified, only
information about that unit is given.
Otherwise, information about all available
units is displayed.
- set properties
- The set properties command is used to
set the properties of the UNI.
The UNI version may be set to 3.0, 3.1,
or auto-configuration mode via the -ver_sion
option. The primary ATM address
may be set via the -address option.
A -unit option must be specified unless
the host has exactly one adapter.
- set failover
- The set failover command sets the UNI
load balancing and failover state and
groups.
The state may be either: dynamic, where
group membership is learned automatically,
static, where the -groups option
is used to set group membership, or off,
where the feature is disabled.
The arguments to the -group option are
unit numbers to be removed from existing
groups and placed together in the same
group. So, specifying a single unit
effectively removes the unit from any
existing group.
You cannot run this command in partner mode. In takeover
mode, the failover state affects all UNI-signaling connections,
regardless of whether they are associated with the
takeover host or the partner.
