NFS mountd traces

Tracing mountd requests  Top

The nfs.mountd.trace command enables you to trace denied mount requests against the filer. Because there is a possibility that the syslog might get hit numerous times during DOS attacks, this option should only be enabled during a debug session.

To enable or disable tracing of denied mount requests, complete the following step.

Enter the following command:

options nfs.mountd.trace on | off

Example

options nfs.mountd.trace on

Note
If this option is disabled, then error messages are only logged once per hour.
