The following table lists the languages supported by Data ONTAP on multiprotocol filers, and the corresponding language code abbreviations you enter during setup.

You can also view this list by entering vol lang at the filer prompt.

Specifying the language code

To specify the language appropriate to your organization, complete the following step.

Step	Action
1	When prompted during setup, enter the code that corresponds to the appropriate language. Note To use UTF-8 as the NFS character set, append `.UTF-8` to the abbreviation. Example `ko.UTF8`
