Terminating an NDMP session

How to terminate an NDMP session  Top

You terminate an NDMP session if the session is not responding.

To terminate an NDMP session, complete the following step.

Step

Action

1

Enter the following command:

ndmpd kill session #

session # is the specific NDMP session you want to terminate, from 0 to 99.

If you want to terminate all NDMP sessions, enter the following command.

ndmpd killall

These commands allow nonresponding sessions to be cleared without the need for a reboot, since the ndmpd off command waits until all sessions are inactive before turning off the NDMP service.
