You can change the status, the media type (FCP adapters only), and the partner interface (FCP adapters only) of an adapter using the Modify Adapter page.
The status of an adapter can be Up, indicating that the adapter is online, or Down, indicating that the adapter is offline.
The media type of an adapter can be configured to establish a point-to-point link, a loop configuration, or to automatically sense the connection type.
