Media Type

Note: This field is available only for the FCP adapters.

Displays the link type on the FCP adapter. The media type of an adapter can be configured to establish a point-to-point link, a loop configuration, or to automatically sense the connection type.

Setting the media type to point-to-point in a loop configuration can prevent the loop from coming up.
