SSL provides security for data sent over HTTP by encrypting the data with a private key. Using the SSL protocol, SecureAdmin provides an encrypted exchange between a filer and a client browser for secure FilerView sessions. Use this section of FilerView to perform the following tasks:
Configure—Generating a self-signed server certificate, generating and viewing the Certificate Signing Request to be sent to your selected Certification Authority (CA), and installing a CA-signed server certificate.
Enable/Disable—Enabling, disabling, or restarting SSL.
