CIFS Auditing

To configure auditing, complete the following steps.

1. In the CIFS Auditing field, select the Enable Auditing check box to enable auditing.

2. In the Log Size field, enter the maximum size, in bytes, that you want the audit log file to grow.

3. Click Apply to save the configuration.

To save an audit log to the existing log file, complete the following step:

1. Click Save Event Log.

To save the audit data to a different log file, complete the following steps:

1. In the Event Log File field, enter the full path name and file name for the new log file to which you want to save audit information.

2. Click Save Event Log.

To clear the event log, complete the following step:

1. Click Clear Event Log.

Note: Audit files that you saved to NT Event Viewer format are not affected by the log clearing process.
