About CIFS share management

The Manage CIFS Shares page enables you to manage the shares that are currently on the filer.

When this page is displayed, it shows the current share name and related share information. To the right of the share information are the operations you can perform on that share: Modify, Delete, and Change Access.

The Add Share link at the top left of the page is a link to the same page as the Shares > Add option in the left frame under CIFS.
