Cluster remote is a service you use on a cluster configured for disaster recovery. The filers in the cluster require a software license to enable the cluster remote service.
Network Appliance provides you with the appropriate license codes when shipping you your filer or software from the factory, or when giving you instructions for obtaining the software over the Internet.
