Fibre Channel Protocol (FCP) is a service that enables you to manage Fibre Channel target adapters for use with LUNs.
The filer requires a software license to enable the FCP service. Network Appliance provides you the appropriate license codes when shipping your filer or software from the factory, or when giving you instructions for obtaining the software over the Internet.
