SnapMirror is an optional feature of Data ONTAP that enables you to copy and access data from specified volumes or qtrees to other volumes or qtrees.
The filer requires a software license to enable SnapMirror services.
Note: If the source volume and the destination are on different filers, you must purchase a license and enter the SnapMirror license code for each filer.
