SnapValidator for Oracle enables the filer to validate Oracle data when it is being written to the filer. Using SnapValidator, the filer can stop data corruptions caused by the host operating system, network, and other intermediaries from making it onto disk.
SnapValidator requires Data ONTAP 7.0 or above. It is supported for iSCSI, FCP, and NFS protocols. SnapValidator works with all filer types running Oracle 9iR2 on a supported host configuration.
