The iSCSI service enables you to manage adapters that support the iSCSI protocol on your filer.
The filer requires a software license to enable the iSCSI service. Network Appliance provides you the appropriate license codes when shipping your filer or software from the factory, or when giving you instructions for obtaining the software over the Internet.
