Synchronous Mirroring

Select the check box if you want to use synchronous mirroring.

Synchronous mirroring protects against data loss by maintaining two mirrored plexes of the same aggregate or traditional volume. Any data loss due to disk failure in one plex is repaired by the undamaged data in the opposite plex.
