Files Hard Limit

The Files Hard Limit field specifies the maximum number of files that the quota target can use. The value in this field represents a hard limit that cannot be exceeded.

If you specify both a files hard limit and a files soft limit, the files hard limit value should be greater than or equal to the files soft limit.

Values can be kilobytes (K), megabytes (M), or gigabytes (G).

K means 1024; for example, 75K means 76,800 files.

An empty field means there is no restriction on the number of files that the quota target can use.

Maximum Values

Values you enter in the Files Hard Limit field should be between 0 and 3G.
