Rules for installing the gateway in a rack

You need to observe the following rules and restrictions when installing your gateway in a standard 19-inch (48.26 cm) telco equipment rack with mounting rails:

You must work with another person.
WARNING
The gateway is extremely heavy. To avoid injuring yourself or damaging the gateway, you must work with at least one other person when you install the gateway in the rack.
Install the gateways in the lowest available slots in the rack.
WARNING
Install the equipment from the bottom up when installing it in a movable rack. This helps prevent the rack from tipping over and seriously injuring you or someone else.
Because the GF270c has empty disk drive bays, the proper slot over must be installed over the empty slot to ensure proper air flow and cooling.
