Verifying configuration for clustered gateways

Values that need to match  Top

When you configure your clustered gateways, the following configuration information needs to match on both nodes of a cluster.

You can use the following tables to ensure that both gateways have the same values in their configuration after you configure them.

Configuration file matching  Top

Use the following table to indicate you verified that the contents of the configuration files in the root volume of the gateway (not the UNIX administration host) are identical for both gateways.

File

Gateway 1

Gateway 2

/etc/resolv.conf

/etc/httpd.mimetypes

/etc/dgateways

/etc/nsswitch.conf

License matching  Top

Use the following table to record the codes for each of the licenses for both gateways in the cluster to ensure that both gateways have their own unique licenses.

Note
Some licenses are not supported by the gateways. Such licenses do not appear in the following table.

Gateway 1 license code

Gateway 2 license code

Option matching  Top

Use the following table to compare the output of the options command for both gateways in the cluster to ensure that the options have identical values in both gateways. If an option is not identical, see Manually checking and correcting options and licenses for information about correcting the option.
