This section shows two different configuration schemes for 2 to 256 LUNs in a switch-attached cluster configuration. The configuration for the GF270c differs from other gFiler models.

Connectivity overview--configuration 1

The following information is for a switch-attached cluster configuration for a GF270c, which supports 42 LUNs. The illustration and table show the number of ports and cable connections required for the GF270c.

Notes to the illustration:

All connected ports on a gFiler cluster have access to all LUNs for that gFiler.

Port-to-port connectivity--configuration 1

The following table summarizes the port-to-port connectivity scheme for this configuration example for between 2 and 256 LUNs.
