Configuring LUNs on the Storage Subsystem

This chapter describes how to configure LUNs on your storage subsystem and how to map those LUNs to your gFiler gateway.

The following table lists the tasks you need to perform to configure LUNs on your storage subsystem and map those LUNs to your gateway.

The following processes take place on your storage subsystem user interface (UI) after you connect your gateway to your subsystem.

Stage	Process
1	Gain access to your storage subsystem through the ESS UI.
2	Check the License Internal Code.
3	Add your gateway to the host list on your storage subsystem.
4	Configure host adapter ports on your storage subsystem.
5	Add LUNs.
6	Modify LUN assignments.
