The following gFiler platforms are supported:

Supported storage subsystem

The gFiler supports the following storage subsystem platform:

Multiple storage subsystems

Multiple storage subsystems can connect to one or more gateways if the storage subsystems are in the same series.

Data ONTAP features not supported

The gFiler supports most Data ONTAP 6.5 features that are described in the Data ONTAP documentation set. You can read about any differences in the gFiler's use with a feature in the gFiler Gateway Series Software Setup, Installation, and Management Guide. The following Data ONTAP features are not supported by the gFiler:

RAID-4
The gFiler uses RAID-0 on top of RAID-1, RAID-5, or RAID-10 on RAID storage subsystems. See Appendix A, Terminology for more information.
Disk sanitization and disk scrubbing
