Connect the disk shelves to the chassis in the sequence shown in the following illustration.

To connect a disk shelf to the chassis, complete the following steps.

Put on the antistatic wrist strap and grounding leash.

Make sure that the chassis and the disk shelves are turned off.
3

Connect each disk shelf to the chassis using the supplied SCSI cables (SCSI LVD VHDCI-68P), as shown in the following illustration.
