File Access Using WebDAV

About this chapter

This chapter describes how you can add WebDAV (Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning) protocol to your existing HTTP service.

Note
You can use the WebDAV protocol on your storage system as an extension of HTTP only if you purchased the license for HTTP. Future versions of Data ONTAP may require the use of a WebDAV license key in order to use WebDAV with HTTP.
