Undestroying aggregates

About undestroying aggregates  Top

You can undestroy a partially intact or previously destroyed aggregate or traditional volume, as long as the aggregate or volume is not Snaplock-compliant.

You must know the name of the aggregate you want to undestroy, because there is no Data ONTAP command available to display destroyed aggregates, nor do they appear in FilerView.

Attention
After undestroying an aggregate or traditional volume, you must run the wafliron program with the privilege level set to advanced. If you need assistance, contact your local NetApp sales representative, PSE, or PSC.

2

If you want to display the disks that are contained by the destroyed aggregate you want to undestroy, enter the following command:

aggr undestroy -n aggr_name

aggr_name is the name of a previously destroyed aggregate or traditional volume that you want to recover.

aggr_name is the name of a previously destroyed aggregate or traditional volume that you want to recover.
