Using NDMP Services

About this chapter  

This chapter describes how you can use Network Data Management Protocol (NDMP) services on your storage system to enable network-based backup and recovery using a number of NDMP-enabled commercial backup applications. It also describes how you can monitor NDMP services running on the storage system and how you can use ndmpcopy to migrate data efficiently within or between storage systems.
