To enable or disable NDMP service, complete the following step.

Enter the following command:

ndmpd {on|off}

Use on to enable NDMP.

Use off to disable NDMP. After you enter ndmpd off, the storage system continues processing all requests on already established sessions, but rejects new sessions.

Note
The setting of the ndmpd on|off command is persistent across reboots.
