Downloading Data ONTAP to clustered systems and rebooting

Select the proper upgrade method as described in Choosing a clustered upgrade procedure.

Then upgrade your clustered storage systems using one of the following methods:

• Nondisruptive upgrades from the Data ONTAP 7.0 release family
• Nondisruptive upgrades from the Data ONTAP 6.5 release family
• Nondisruptive upgrades within release families
• Standard upgrades

  Attention
  Do not enter the Data ONTAP download command on a clustered storage system that is in takeover mode.
