Destroying IPspaces

To destroy an IPspace, complete the following steps.

Step	Action
1	Make sure that there are no network interfaces or vFiler units associated with the IPspace you want to destroy. Read Listing IPspaces on a storage system to identify any interfaces associated with the IPspace you want to destroy. Read Managing IPspaces on a storage system to assign network interfaces to another IPspace. Read Displaying vFiler unit status and Destroying a vFiler unit for procedures to identify any vFiler units associated with the IPspace and to destroy those vFiler units.
2	Enter the following command: ipspace destroy ipspacename ipspacename is the IPspace name to be destroyed.
