Manage FCP-iSCSI Adapters

You can view the status of an adapter and the adapter type by looking at the Status and Type columns for each adapter listed in the Manage FCP-iSCSI Adapters page.

You can make an adapter offline or online by modifying its status. An adapter is online if the status of the adapter is Up, and the adapter is offline if the status of the adapter is Down.

To modify the status of an adapter, complete the following steps.

1. From the list of adapters on this window, identify the adapter whose status you want to change.

2. Click the adapter name.
   
   Result: The Modify Adapter page is displayed. Use this window to modify the status of the adapter.

3. If you want to make the adapter offline, click the Down Adapter link on the top of the page.
   
   If you want to make the adapter online, click the Up Adapter link on the top of the page.
   
   A confirmation box asking you to confirm the action is displayed in both of the previous cases.

4.  Click OK.
