Specifies the name of the client. In the case of FCP clients, you must specify the World Wide Port Name (WWPN). In the case of iSCSI clients, you must specify the iSCSI node name.
Use the following guidelines when specifying initiators:
Separate the node names and WWPNs with a comma, a space, or a new line.
The WWPNs for FCP initiators must be in the following format:
xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
For example:
10:00:00:00:c9:2b:7c:0f
The node names for iSCSI initiators must be in one of the following two formats:
iqn.yyyy-mm.backward_naming_authority:unique_device_namebackward_naming_authority is the reverse domain name (for example, com.second_level_domain) of the entity responsible for naming this device.
yyyy-mm is the month and year in which the naming authority acquired the domain name.
unique_device_name is a free-format unique name for this device assigned by the naming authority.
The following example shows the iSCSI node name for an initiator that is an application server.
iqn.1987-06.com.initvendor1:sn2345
eui.HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, where H is any hexadecimal digit.
