Manage iSCSI Names

You can use the Manage iSCSI Names page to change the iSCSI node name of the filer or to create, modify, or delete a user-friendly iSCSI alias for the filer.

In general, you will not need to change the filer's iSCSI node name.

To create a more user-friendly way to identify the filer as an iSCSI target device in host-side interfaces, create an iSCSI alias for the filer. If present, the iSCSI alias is reported to the initiator during the session login sequence. You can use this page to create, modify or clear the iSCSI alias for the filer.
