Specify an iSCSI alias for the filer. An iSCSI alias is a user-friendly identifier you assign to an iSCSI target device (in this case, the filer) to make it easier to identify the target device in host-side user interfaces instead of the nodename. An iSCSI alias is a string of 1-128 printable, non-whitespace characters. If present, the iSCSI alias is reported to the initiator during the session login sequence.
To delete the alias, clear the field. Strings consisting entirely of blanks will be rejected.
