Modify iSCSI Portal Group

Use the Modify iSCSI Portal Group page to add interfaces to an existing user-defined target portal group or remove interfaces assigned to an existing user-defined target portal group. When you remove an interface from a user-defined target portal group, Data ONTAP automatically reassigns the interface to its system default target portal group.

Note: The reassignments that occur when you add or remove interfaces from a user-defined target portal group can result in the termination of iSCSI sessions already in progress over those interfaces.

Once a user-defined target portal group is created, you cannot change its name or tag. You cannot modify system default target portal groups, except to reassign an interface from its system default target portal group to a user-defined target portal group.
