The SecureAdmin feature improves security for performing filer administration tasks. Because the password and administrative communications are encrypted with SecureAdmin, it is very difficult for someone to intercept a filer root password over the network. SecureAdmin provides security using two protocols:
Secure Shell (SSH)—Provides a secure remote shell network session that RSH does not.
Secure Socket Layer (SSL)—Provides a secure FilerView session.
