The Configure Security page enables you to configure the security access to the filer.
The following table lists the fields you can configure for filer security and a description of each field.

Specifies whether only the root is allowed to mount. Either Yes or No. The default value for this field is Yes. |

Only root Allowed to chown |
Specifies whether only the root is allowed to change ownership. Either Yes or No. The default value for this field is Yes |

Hosts Allowed to use Telnet |
Specifies the hosts that are allowed to use a Telnet session to access the filer. The default value for this field is None. |

Modem Attached to Console |
Specifies whether there is a modem attached to the console for use in remote access. The default value for this field is No. |
