FilerView online Help is accessible in two ways:
Per-page help
Use the Help link on any user-interface page of FilerView to obtain help about that page.
Field-level help
Click the help link next to a field for specific information on that field.
Table of contents
Click the General Help link available in the upper portion of the left navigation pane of FilerView, next to the filer icon and name, to obtain a list of topics. When you select a topic in the left help pane, the help content corresponding to that topic is displayed in the right pane.
Note: Information for certain topics in the table of contents is available only if you have installed the license pertaining to those topics. For example, MultiStore requires the MultiStore license and LUNs requires that either FCP or iSCSI is licensed.
In FilerView, drop-down hyperlinks are identified with a colon ( : ) at the end of the hyperlink. When a drop-down hyperlink is clicked, the text for the hyperlink appears below the hyperlink.
Once the text for a drop-down hyperlink is visible, you can click the hyperlink again to make the text disappear.
Note: This feature does not work in Netscape browsers. See "Information for Netscape users" below for more information.
Information for Netscape users:
