The Aggregate Properties page displays the following information about the selected aggregate or traditional volume:
Heading |
Description |
Name |
Name of the aggregate or traditional volume. |
Type |
Aggregate or Traditional. Indicates whether properties shown are for an aggregate or a traditional volume. |
Status |
Indicates whether the aggregate or traditional volume is online, offline, or restricted and its current state. For details, see Aggregate Status. |
RAID Size |
Number of disks per RAID group. Any disks you add will be organized into RAID groups of this size. |
Used Capacity |
Amount of storage currently used. |
% Used |
Percentage of the total storage currently in use. |
Total Capacity |
Total storage for the aggregate or traditional volume. |
Checksums |
Type of checksum currently being used (zoned or block). |
Number of Disks |
Number of disks currently assigned. |
Number of Files |
Number of files currently stored. The items tallied under the Number of Files and Max Files fields for an aggregate are not user-visible files like those contained in volumes but inodes. An inode is a data structure containing information about files. The inodes contained in an aggregate are there to support flexible volumes the aggregate may contain. |
Max. Files |
Maximum number of files that can be stored. |
Double Parity? |
If this field is checked, the aggregate or traditional volume consists of RAID-DP (double parity) RAID groups. |
Root Aggregate? |
If this field is checked, the aggregate contains the root volume. Note that because the current root volume cannot be taken offline, the aggregate containing the root volume cannot be taken offline. |
Note: To view the properties of a different aggregate, select the aggregate from the drop-down list box then click View.
