In the Configure Autosupport window you can perform the following procedure.

Setting up autosupport:

  1. In the Autosupport Enabled field, ensure that Yes is selected (this should be the default setting) to enable Autosupport.

  2. In the Mailhosts field, enter the name or names of the mail hosts that you want to use to support Autosupport.

  3. In the From field, enter the e-mail address of the person whom Network Appliance contacts after receiving an automatic e-mail message.

  4. In the To field, add other recipients of autosupport e-mail, specified as e-mail addresses, of recipients that should be sent messages by the autosupport daemon.

  5. In the Note To field, enter any recipients, specified as e-mail addresses, that should be sent short e-mail messages generated by the autosupport daemon.

The short e-mail messages are for urgent events such as disk failures or filer reboots. They are useful if the person who should be notified of urgent events reads e-mail on a small screen such as that on an alphanumeric pager.

  6. When you are finished with all additions or changes, click Apply to save the configuration.
