SnapManager for Exchange is an optional service that enables rapid data recovery for Microsoft Exchange and file backup without interrupting e-mail services.
The filer requires a software license to enable the SnapManager for Exchange service.
Network Appliance provides you with the appropriate license codes when shipping you the software or when giving you instructions for obtaining the software over the Internet.
Note: SnapManager for Exchange cannot be installed on clustered filers using ServerNet cluster adapters.
You must have the following services licensed or enabled on your filer before licensing and enabling SnapManager for Exchange:
NFS enabled
CIFS enabled
SnapRestore licensed
