Set Time Zone |
In the Set Time Zone page you can perform the following procedures.
To set the time zone:
In the Timezone field, select the proper time zone for this filer.
Click Apply to save the time zone configuration, or you can click Reset to change back to the last configuration.
Synchronizing with a remote host:
This page enables you to specify the remote host name to which you want to synchronize the time. The time synchronizes the filer date and time to an accuracy within one second of the date and time of the remote host.
Note: There is currently no Windows 95 or Windows NT counterpart for synchronization. You must have a UNIX workstation that supports remote synchronization on your filer network.
To synchronize the date and time with a remote host, complete the following steps:
In the Remote Host field, enter the name (or the IP address) of the remote host to which you want to synchronize.
Click Synchronize Now.
